It's been a month now since you supplied Magic with his new saddle so I thought I would drop you a line and let you know how I was getting on. 

Magic's back is visibly improving on a daily basis and he is generally so much more comfy in both his back and neck.  I can even brush his back all over now and he enjoys it, and combing his mane is no problem now either which I didn't expect.  He even got down and rolled in the school the other day, which he always so enjoyed doing, and hadn't done for over 3 months, so I think he is generally a much happier, comfy boy.  

 I no longer have schooling issues with him, and once he is warmed up, he is willing and able to do what I ask of him.

For many years now I have been helping people solve behavioural problems with their ponies and horses. If I had not met Lavinia I would not know about how vital it is to have a saddle that is comfortable for the horse and allows him to move freely. So many of the problems I come across stem from an ill-fitting saddle.

Lavinia's expertise in explaining the biomechanics of the horse and then spending time to fit a saddle that gives confidence to horse and rider have been invaluable to me and to a great many of my clients and their horses.

The difference a comfortable saddle makes changes the attitude of the horse in all his work as well as developing correct muscle over his back.

Many thanks for your help today; it was truly amazing to feel the difference in Bella’s action.
I am sure this will assist her immensely in her recovery. I didn't realise how much she was being restricted by her old saddle…… poor girl!

Thanks very much for the consultation today.

It was both interesting and eye opening. We look at the horses at walk and trot in a different way now.
We will keep in touch and let you know how we are getting on with the saddle and hopefully you can resolve any issues we have before we have any problems.

Just thought I would drop you a note to let you know how Duke and I are getting on. I continued to ride Duke bareback and lunge him through until November when the saddle arrived.  The saddle felt 'right' from the moment I first used it.

The changes in Duke are really good to see. He enjoys his work now; is keen and forward-going; uses his hind legs far more effectively, doesn't tire like he used to and looks really healthy.  Looking back it's almost as though he was depressed before. 

Duke's back is much more muscular and the appearance of his big shoulders has virtually gone as the muscle has built backup. The saddle doesn't slip at all and I haven't even had a problem with it being pushed to the right (which we thought may happen) because of Duke's slight unevenness in the shoulders. In fact he feels much more even on both legs now and I noticed the other day that he has virtually lost his nodding head action when trotting straight towards me in the field.

So thank you from a very happy couple!

Ben is just soooooooo much better now!!!
He is not bucking, hardly napping (only if he really gets scared and falls back to the old habit), is just so much better in the school and comes to the gate when I call.

Thanks again for the excellent advice and brilliant saddle. Worth every penny.
